Creativity is unlimited…

Maya Angelou stated that “You can’t use creativity up- the more you use , the more you have”. I think as a designer this is certainly true. It’s tempting to just sit down and do all the fun things that designers do- choosing materials, palettes, shopping for furniture. Even sitting in front of the computer or iPad can be all you need to get those creative juices flowing. But have you ever felt burnt out by the business of running your business? Often times we spend most of our time doing repetitive tasks such as ordering, budgeting and invoicing. I feel that this is not why I chose designing to begin with.

However, there is a solution! Over years I have perfected a system- firstly on Microsoft spreadsheets , migrating to Google Docs and now I have moved it over to Notion. I have a whole gamut of apps that keep it under control - information at my fingertips. I’ll be sharing how I do it with you in a little while!
