Choosing someone to design your space can be daunting. You have to put your trust in someone to get it right. Our thorough and comprehensive design process gives you confidence that you are in good hands. We will discuss & ideate every aspect of your space compiling a scheme that will take into account your individual needs.

Fees are an important consideration in our process. After we discuss your needs and requirements and build a full scope of work together, we will assess your project by the time we believe that it will take and its complexity. We will furnish you will a fixed fee for our design services for the scope of works which have been discussed.

Your initial consultation of 2 hours will be billed prior to our meeting. Site visits, trade meetings, client meetings, and showroom visits will be charged at our hourly rate, invoiced in advance in 20-hour blocks.

We keep detailed timesheets which will be provided to you monthly or as requested.

Any changes in project scope will be charged at a fixed fee after we have discussed the changes that are being made.

Our design process takes around 6 to 12 weeks to complete from our initial meeting to design documentation depending on the size of the project. This is a big investment and we wouldn’t want to rush the creative process. Engage a designer at least 6 to 12 months before you would like to start construction.

The design process takes a number of weeks to complete. It comprises our initial meeting, further client meetings and briefings, conceptualisation of design, initial budgets , meetings with relevant trades. After this stage, we will refine our designs, select materials, fixtures and fittings, revise budgets and present the final design. Then we enter in to the documentation stage where we develop our design into detail drawings, produce schedules and present the final package of drawings.

Your chosen builder will manage the site and its construction. They will engage relevant tradespeople with your approval. We can meet with tradespeople at any stage of the project if you wish to ensure the design intent is carried out throughout the project. We can order fixture and fittings on your behalf and manage their installation if you wish.

Our documentation package will include floor plans, elevations and design details and lighting and electrical plans. We will provide 3D renders of chosen spaces so you can visualise the design intent.

If you would like to complete structural changes we will engage an architect or building designer and/or professionals such as surveyors, engineers and landscape designers as necessary.

Schedules for all fixtures, fittings and finishes are produced as part of the design process.

Yes, we help you access trade pricing. Sourcing and ordering will be charged at an hourly rate and the full trade discounts will be passed onto to you.

The initial consultation will be in person, preferably on-site. Further meetings will take place in person or via zoom if necessary. All meetings will take place during working hours - AEST 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

We provide you with a client portal that will give you access to follow our design process. Client discussions will be completed through Slack. Minutes of meetings ( in person or via zoom) will be posted on the client portal.
