There are a lot of choices- maybe too many choices. Or, you may not have the time or energy to devote to an interior design project. This is where I come in.
A lifelong love of design and the design process
I’m Joanne and I have been an interior designer for 15 years. I started my interior design practice in Hong Kong where I worked on residential and commercial projects, both large and small for clients who were design-driven and shared my love of combining textures and materials with meaningful objects to create unique spaces. My design practice included a design store, Eclectic Cool, which stocked brands such as GUBI, &tradition and HAY. I built a network of local and international artisans and trusted suppliers from Australia to Europe and the US, as well as Asia. I am able to source the perfect pieces to create beautiful, cohesive interiors with personality and distinction.

MY PHILOSOPHY
We live for the good things in life.
I approach my designs with my clients as active collaborators, combining their lifestyles and memories with my design skills.
No matter what the size, scale, scope of the project or budget I take pride in my personal service, designing for the long term. I love to unravel the lives of my clients, researching how they live and interact with all around them.
My projects are warm and have a lived-in feel. I source beautiful & quality fabrics and decorative items from around the world. I love juxtaposing items from different eras, combining them with light and colour to create volume, space and interest. From lighting to furniture, everything down to the hardware and electricals is carefully considered, creating a cohesive but unexpected look and feel.
An interior that fosters deeper connections, creativity and harmony, curated with flair & originality is my goal.
OUR LOCATION
We are lucky to live & work in the beautiful Shoalhaven surrounded by rolling hills, sparkling blue waters and dramatic landscapes. I am inspired by all around me and love working in here- my projects stretch from the eastern suburbs of Sydney to the Southern Highlands.

New build- We work with your architect to design the details that make your new house a home
Renovation- We work with you or in partnership with the architect of your choice to create living interior spaces out of existing structures
Furniture and fittings selection- Our experience in operating a design store for over 10 years has resulted in long-standing relationships with suppliers and makers. We are always able to source beautiful pieces that are perfect for a space
Custom design- From kitchens and bathrooms to libraries, entertainment rooms and offices, we create bespoke spaces that suit exactly how you wish to live, work and play. Our technical skills in 3D design from conception to rendering can help you visualise a piece inside your interior
DECORATION SERVICES INCLUDE:
Window treatments and finishes- The filtering and control of light in an interior creates atmosphere and style, we can design and manufacture appropriate treatments that add luxury and distinction
Upholstery and soft furnishings- Custom-designed cushions, throws and bespoke upholstery is our specialty
Art and design selections- I am a long time collector of art and was trained in curation and acquisition at Christie’s in London. We can help you curate and acquire key pieces of art
